How we use what you tell the waitlist

This describes what the early-access form on this site actually does. The fuller privacy page is still a draft.

Operator: Tuned, Inc. Contact: hello@openping.ai.

What is stored

  • What you type: your email, and if you give them your name, your company or project, what you’d watch, how you build, the tool you use today and the URL you’d monitor first.
  • Where you came from: the page you landed on, the page that sent you here, and any campaign tags in the link (the utm_ ones).
  • About the request: your browser’s user agent, your country when our host tells us, and a salted hash of your IP address. The address itself is never stored.
  • Housekeeping: when you signed up, how many times, and whether you have unsubscribed.

What it is used for

  • To decide who to invite next, and to email you when your place opens.
  • To offer help moving your monitors over, if you named a tool you use today.
  • To learn which kinds of teams want OpenPing, in totals.
  • To stop the form being abused. That is the only use of the IP hash.

We do not sell the list or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Where it lives

In a database table only our server can read. If a welcome email is sent, your address passes through our email provider to deliver it.

Leaving the list

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To have your details deleted altogether, email hello@openping.ai from the address you signed up with.
